Chainlink

Chainlink (LINK) is a tool for building decentralized information networks (Oracle networks). These networks bring real-world data into blockchain systems, enabling the creation of smart contracts that connect both worlds. Information networks offer various services, such as price information, proofs of reserves, verifiable randomness, automatic transactions, and the ability to connect with any web API. The main goal is to ensure that external information (e.g., prices, weather data, event results) and computations outside the blockchain (like randomness, automatic transactions, fair ordering) reliably enter smart contracts on the blockchain, protected from manipulation.
